Greetings to all,

It is with immense pleasure and anticipation that I extend a warm welcome to all distinguished members and residents of the IATCVS community to the 15th Annual Meeting of the Indonesian Association of Thoracic, Cardiac, and Vascular Surgeons. This year’s monumental gathering will take place in the scenic cities of Bandung and Padalarang from September 17th to 21st, 2024.

We have been tasked by the Indonesian Ministry of Health to expand cardiac surgery services to all corners of Indonesia—a tremendous responsibility to bear. In addition, we must continue advancing our other specialties in thoracic and vascular surgery, which play crucial roles in promoting the health of our nation.

As we approach this significant milestone, our attention is firmly focused on the theme of the meeting: “Moving Forward: Improving Quality Care Through New Techniques and Experiences.” This theme reflects our commitment to advancing the boundaries of surgical excellence, embracing innovative methods, and sharing experiences that collectively elevate the standard of care in thoracic, cardiac, and vascular surgery.

I encourage all participants and sponsors to actively engage in the diverse sessions, participate in interactive workshops, and contribute to the vibrant discussions that will take place throughout our three-day gathering. Together, let us face the challenges of our dynamic field and chart a course toward a future of enhanced quality care and continuous improvement.
